POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Monday - Friday
Full Time, 40 Hours per week
First Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Considerable amount of travel within the state
Office/On-site

THE ROLE
This is an entry level position within the Department’s Code Enforcement Unit, which is responsible for the design review and construction inspection of all new buildings and renovations of existing buildings to ensure compliance with all applicable state building and fire codes and ADA requirements, including public transportation infrastructure and traffic signals for code compliance. Additional responsibilities include inspection of all fuel storage installations for compliance with governing DEEP regulations and inspection/release for all electrical utility service installations located on Department property.
The incumbent will be required to provide service for an agency operating with a 24/7/365 commitment to the transportation needs of the public.
