Requirements
Required Education
High School Diploma/GED
Experience Qualifications
2 years Experience in a customer service focused role
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working in a public safety emergency communications center
Skills and Abilities
Be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
Must pass a background check prior to employment start date.
Licenses and Certifications
Driver License, Valid and in State Maintain a valid license for the duration of employment Upon Hire Required
CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation within 60 Days Required
Must pass a substance use screening prior to employment start date. Required
Must be able to obtain Colorado Crime Information Center (CCIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification and maintain certification for the duration of employment Upon Hire Required
Must be able to obtain Internal Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) Emergency Medical Dispatching (EMD) certification within six months of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment Upon Hire Required
CCIC/NCIC Certification Preferred
IAED EMD Certification Preferred
American Heart Association CPR Certification Preferred
