- Leave & Disability Program Manager (Hybrid)
Description
Wake County Government is seeking an experienced and highly organized Leave & Disability Program Manager to lead the administration of employee leave and accommodation programs across all departments. This position will oversee a broad portfolio of leave types - including FMLA, Military Leave, Family Illness Leave, Parental Leave, Wellness Leave, Leave Without Pay (LWOP), and ADA accommodations.
The Program Manager will ensure Wake County’s leave policies are administered consistently, efficiently, and in compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is critical in supporting employee well-being, operational continuity, and organizational compliance. Reporting to the Deputy Human Resources Director, this position plays a key role in shaping the employee experience within Wake County Government.
This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with team members typically spending at least two days a week in the office for collaboration and connection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
- 4 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years managing leave programs and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations.
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted.
