Description
HunaTek Government Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to work on site in Washington, DC to provide engineering support of a VPN based network infrastructure supporting Unified Communications (UC) services, which include IP-based trunking, voice routing design and configuration and unified messaging.
Duties include:
- Provide support to engineering and customer support teams
- Utilize network performance and monitoring tools to resolve issues and maintain a healthy network; Troubleshoot and resolve network related connectivity issues
- Provide assistance and perform general tasks for maintaining UC networks
- Configure and update network routers, LAN switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points, and other related network devices/appliances
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wireless, Firewall problems, network problems, along with other associated tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- CISCO certified network engineer with minimum five years extensive experience with CISCO network hardware and software products
- Experience with SDWAN
- Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Network security experience
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust
