POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
First Shift
Full Time, 40 hours per week
Monday through Friday
Location: Newington, CT
This position is eligible to apply for telework after successful completion of the working test period, and thereafter, in accordance with the Telework Policy. The Policy can be found here. Employees in their initial working test period must work on site in the office.
THE ROLE
This position will reside in the Office of Staff Development and will be required to handle the day-to day administrative requirements of this office, filing, managing and ordering supplies as needed, assisting with classroom set up, answering and directing calls and assisting employees regarding training, tuition reimbursement and other related questions; assist with travel requests and related forms.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of experience above the routine clerk level in office support or secretarial work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED
College training in the secretarial sciences may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of one (1) year.
