Senior Site Safety and Health Manager
 HunaTek is seeking a highly motivated Senior Site Safety and Health Manager to join our team.  As a Senior Site Safety and Health Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a major contributor to an on-site team providing expertise, leadership, and reporting services to our government clients.
 Essential Job Functions
 The Senior Site Safety and Health Manager is the designated on-site primary point of contact for project safety.  The Site Safety and Health Manager is responsible for the day-to-day safety operations of the project.  He ensures that personnel and subcontractors are conducting project activities in accordance with the established project safety plan.
 - Responsible for overall on-site safety of the project
- Develops and executes the Site Safety and Health Plan.
- Responsible for ensuring that all personnel on the job site are aware of and trained as necessary in site safety
- Track progress of day-to-day safety activities
- Implements site safety and health plan
- Confirms work has been completed in accordance with safety plan and records appropriately
- Works as an integral part of the site management team to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Establishes and maintains clear channels of communication with site team and onsite client personnel
- Coordinate site activities with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide strategic advice and recommendations
- Collaborate with clients to resolve issues, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction
- Conduct interviews to fully staff the contract to meet project requirements.
- Manage and observe subcontractor staff in order to achieve project objectives and ensure adherence to all company policies.
- Train all onsite staff to ensure safety at all times
- Experience with all trades associated with construction (structural, electrical, HACAV, architecture etc.)
Skills and Qualifications Required
 - US Citizenship.
- Able to pass standard facility access background investigation.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present briefs and interact with clients and team members.
- Expertise in the execution of large complex construction projects.
- High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office 365 programs, including Excel and SharePoint.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of twenty (20) years' experience in this role. At least ten (10) years of experience must be in the Site Safety and Health Manager or a higher role for single projects valued at more than $25 million. At least ten (10) years of project management must be for Federal government clients.
- Must be proficient in developing and evaluating multiple reports.
- Must be proficient in reading and understanding complex design documents.
- Must have experience with Design Build projects.
- Must be able to observe and inspect multiple subcontractors.
- Expertise in Corps of Engineers 385.1.1
- Expertise in Quality Control Management Systems
- Current USACE or NAVFAC CQM Certification
- OHSA 30 Certification
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients in the event of delays, change orders or extensions
- Reports to Project Manager
Skills and Qualifications Preferred:  
 - Direct experience supporting the USACE, Coast Guard, NAVFAC or similar organization
- Experience working in a cold weather environment
- Ability to relocate to a job site
