The Colorado River Municipal Water District is accepting applications for the following position in Big Spring:
Electrical/Electronics Superintendent: Position is responsible for providing managerial oversight of the electrical and electronic maintenance of District assets and infrastructure; ensuring effective prioritization of work assignments, appropriate budget allocation, and consistent performance management.
The position requires a foundational understanding of electrical theory and its application in power transmission and electronics. Candidates should possess more than five years of related experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
The CRMWD is seeking a multi-talented person ready to invest themselves into the organization. The candidate’s knowledge may be acquired through a two-year associate degree, diploma, or equivalent education from a college, technical, vocational, or correspondence school. Relevant certifications may be granted upon successful completion of advanced coursework or specialized training
The District is offering a competitive salary for this position dependent on qualifications and experience. The organization’s benefits package includes health insurance for which the District pays 100% of employees’ premiums and 70% for dependents. The Colorado River Municipal Water District (CRMWD) was created in 1949 as a regional raw water supplier for west Texas. The District’s member cities are Odessa, Big Spring, and Snyder. Municipal customers include the cities of Midland, San Angelo, Abilene, Stanton, Grandfalls, Pyote and the Millersview-Doole Water Supply Corporation. CRMWD also has many large industrial customers.
