CHIEF ENGINEER 

Cape May Court House, NJ (on-site), Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

$114,802 - $173,854

The Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority, owner & operator of a regional wastewater system comprised of 25 pumping stations, over 50 miles of force mains, 4 wastewater treatment plants & a regional solid waste system comprised of a transfer station, landfill & recycling center, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief Engineer. 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university is required. Registration as a New Jersey Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain the same within 12 months from the date of hire is required. The ideal candidate will have ten years of progressive experience in the design, project, construction, or management of wastewater treatment plants and/or solid waste systems. Salary is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package. Must reside in New Jersey or attain residency in one year.
