Wisconsin Rapids is a beautiful community in the heart of central Wisconsin with a population of approximately 18,000. It has been designated a “Dream Town” by Demographics Daily due to its low crime rate, access to health care, low cost of living, good schools, supply of good jobs and quick commutes.
Benefits
The City currently contributes 90% of the cost of health and dental insurance for single, two-person, or family coverage.
The City currently pays both the employee and employer portions of the contributions to the Wisconsin Retirement System.
Currently, the City provides 10 paid holidays – eight are designated holidays and two are floating holidays to be used at the employee’s option.
The current vacation schedule progresses from two to six weeks over a period of 24 years.
The City currently provides 12 days of sick leave per year.
