Woodinville is a city of 10,560 residents and 1,200 businesses located in the lush Sammamish Valley about 20 miles northeast of Seattle, Washington. Scenic landscapes, wineries, and plant nurseries make Woodinville a premier tourist destination. The City of Woodinville has a Council-Manager form of government with seven City Council members. The City employs 49.05 FTEs who serve in the Executive, Administrative Services, Development Services, Parks & Recreation and Public Works departments. Police services are provided by the City through a contract with the King County Sheriff’s Office. Fire services are provided by the Woodinville Fire & Life Safety District.
