The Stillwater Police Department is one of the best equipped and trained departments in the country. We support our personnel by providing the latest in equipment and technology. The Stillwater Police Department is housed in a state of the art facility. The building is a four story structure including underground parking, office space, fitness center, central communications center, detention center, and full classroom training facilities. Department members are outfitted with all equipment and uniforms at no cost to the employee, including a Glock pistol and Colt AR-15 rifle.
We also offer numerous promotional opportunities and specialty positions for our officers including K-9, Collision Reconstruction, Criminal Investigations, Motorcycle Officer, SWAT, Lake Patrol, Bicycle Patrol, Training Officer, School Resource Officer, Drug Recognition Experts, Firearm Training Coordinator, and Drug and Alcohol Enforcement Officers.

The Stillwater Police Department is a professional law enforcement organization dedicated to serving the citizens of the City of Stillwater. The agency operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week, providing police services to a population of approximately 50,000. The Stillwater Police Department works diligently to provide a safe environment for our citizens to live, work, and raise their children.
