Your Role:
This position is assigned to the Inventory Management Unit located in Waterbury, 100 Chase River Road. Incumbents will be responsible for performing a full range of various inventory management duties, both manual and clerical. Duties include receiving daily deliveries, issuing a variety of parts to repair and maintenance facilities, communicating with vendors, maintaining accurate inventory levels, purchasing, time entry, Class C operator for fuel station operations, and general housekeeping.
Role Requirements:
Incumbents in this class must be willing to accept assignment to emergency duties when required, including snow and ice removal. Mandatory winter overtime occurs November 1 through April 30 each year.
Requirements
Two (2) years of experience in stock or warehouse work or closely related work that could reasonably be expected to provide the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
