Job Summary:
The location is Austin, Texas. The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CATH LAB TECH) for a contract position in the cardiovascular department. The role involves working in a cath lab setting performing procedures related to cardiac catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, and pacemaker and defibrillator implants. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CATH LAB TECH)
• Location: Austin, Texas
• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Schedule: 40 hours per week with additional on-call requirements
• Required Qualifications: Certified as a Cardiovascular Technologist, with certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). No prior experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: RCIS certification is considered a plus but not required.
• Additional Information: On-call coverage is required from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM the following day. Weekend on-call duties total 48 hours per week. The department working environment emphasizes team collaboration and professional appearance with specified dress code.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
