Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR), Cardiothoracic Surgery Assistant (CST) Boston, MA. The role supports surgical teams in an acute care setting with a focus on strong cardiac skills, while also assisting with other cases as needed when cardiac volume permits. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details
- Schedule: 3x12 hour nights plus call (36.0 hours per week)
- Required Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum 2 years of experience; license required for submission
- Preferred Qualifications: Preference for travel experience
- Additional Information: Weekend rotations are possible. Call may be assigned if scheduling needs arise (including holes or swaps), and call coverage is determined once the manager confirms comfort within the unit. Charting is performed using Cerner.
