Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Surgical Technician Las Vegas, Nevada. The role supports cardiovascular operating room activities, including open-heart procedures and related surgical technology needs within a CVOR setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, with on-call coverage after hours and weekends; 8 shift hours with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); proficiency supporting independent vein procurement and data collection; competency using Maquet Hemopro 2 for vein procurement.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with circulating/assisting in cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, valves, TAVR, thoracic robotic-assisted procedures, and emergent open-heart cases may be considered.
- Additional Information: Duties include supporting CVOR open-heart procedures, with familiarity relevant to CABG, valves, TAVR, thoracic robotic-assisted cases, laser procedures standby support, and general emergent open-heart procedures.
