Job Summary:
A Cardiac Ultrasonographer (Ultrasonographer Echo) position is available in Gardner, Massachusetts. This role involves performing cardiac diagnostic imaging procedures to study the anatomy and hemodynamics of the heart, including two-dimensional (2D) and Doppler modalities. Candidates are required to bring their professional license on the first day.

- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; formal training from an accredited medical sonography program specializing in cardiac sonography; credentialed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography (AE); current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least five years of experience credentialed by RDCS AE for five years.
- Preferred Qualifications: Good computer, verbal and written skills.
- Additional Information: The role includes reviewing medical histories, explaining procedures to patients, performing echocardiograms, analyzing results, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. The technician may assist during transesophageal echocardiograms, operate stress testing equipment, perform electrocardiograms, and ensure equipment safety and cleanliness.
