Job Summary:
The Portland, Oregon-based Electrophysiology (EP) Technician position involves providing specialized support in electrophysiology procedures within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires the candidate to perform various technical and clinical responsibilities related to electrophysiology labs, including pacemaker insertions and cardiac ablations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.
Job Details:
- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Radiology Technician Certification, OBMI License, ACLS Certification, ARRT RBLS Certification, Oregon State License, 1 year of experience in electrophysiology or relevant field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP labs, electrophysiology procedures, and familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system.
- Additional Information:
- Candidate may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted location.
- Candidate must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- The position involves maintaining sterile technique, scrub procedures, and handling specialized electrophysiology equipment including vascular closure systems and pacemaker devices.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years prior to employment.
- Vaccinations required: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines.
