Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer General (Sonographer) position is located in Kennewick, Washington. This role involves providing ultrasound imaging services in an Emergency Department setting, with a focus on neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. The candidate must bring their valid Washington (WA) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license on their first day. The position requires flexibility to float within the facility and work rotating shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, rotating days and nights.
- Required Qualifications: Valid WA or Compact RN license in hand, current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certifications including AB, FE*, OB/GYN*, and BLS. Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience, with patient ratio experience of 1.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, previous work in neonatal and pediatric ultrasound, and familiarity with emergency department protocols.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the facility.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have worked at a Providence facility previously as an employee or contractor, with detailed interview availability provided upfront, including multiple time options and time zones. References covering the last three years (or six months for CNAs) are required prior to start. All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility. Return Providence staff must wait 3 months before submitting as a traveler. Modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours of completion, with prior approval required for more than 20 hours.
