Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Home Health (HH) services is sought in South Portland, Maine. The position involves providing care to adult patients, primarily focusing on post-operative, fall risk, deconditioning, mobility issues, and other related diagnoses. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. This is a full-time role based on a standard schedule or alternative four 10-hour shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: South Portland, ME
- Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday; available for four 10-hour shifts
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Therapy (PT), Maine state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, drivers license, auto insurance, and experience with post-operative surgeries, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues. At least 1 year of experience is preferred; candidate must be willing to travel up to 50-100 miles daily within Aroostook County.
- Preferred Qualifications: Home Health experience preferred but not required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Will cover primarily Aroostook County with travel between 50-100 miles daily.
- 1-2 weeks of orientation planned.
- Weekend rotations approximately every 4-6 weeks, working Saturdays and Sundays.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Open to working all major and minor holidays; 50% of holidays included in the contract.
