Job Summary
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma MRI Technologist
The MRI Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures that require independent judgment under the supervision of the MRI supervisor and radiologist. The role includes utilizing established MRI protocols for technical factors, patient positioning, and computer manipulation, as well as preparing and administering contrast agents when required. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (3x12); minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in MRI/Imaging; ability to perform MRI examinations using established protocols for technical factors, patient positioning, and computer manipulation; ability to prepare and administer contrast agents as outlined by MRI protocols; ability to instruct patients on special procedure requirements (including breathing instructions and motion) and provide appropriate explanations; ability to ensure accuracy and completeness of requisitions, PACs, and associated computer system functions; ability to demonstrate knowledge of special needs and behaviors across age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric

- Additional Information: Perform Continuous Quality Improvement functions as assigned; complete all posted daily MRI technologist responsibilities; perform miscellaneous job responsibilities as assigned
