Job Summary:
Hilo, Hawaii The Imaging Specialist IV MRI position involves independently performing clinical diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams in accordance with department protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role requires two years of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification, and completion of an accredited MRI program. The position entails working four ten-hour shifts on Friday through Monday, with at least one on-call shift per week. Work schedules may vary depending on staffing and operational needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Schedule: Four ten-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Shifts may vary based on operational needs. At least one on-call shift per week; may involve weekend and holiday work, standby, and callback duties.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification; Education: Successful completion of an accredited MRI program with a certificate or associate degree, or equivalent; Experience: Two years of independent MRI technologist experience performing clinical diagnostic MRI procedures. Knowledge of GE MRI systems and EPIC is preferred; Licensure: A current State of Hawaii license in any radiologic imaging modality is highly desired; Certifications: BLS within six months of employment.
- Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health appointment on Friday.
- Experience: Zero years minimum experience required; focus is on qualified candidates with the appropriate certifications and educational background.
