Job Summary: MRI Technologist (MRI) Milwaukee, WI. The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging services for a range of outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients, including those with implantable devices and a variety of clinical specialties. The role requires experience with MRI patient types and proficiency with required imaging systems and documentation processes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings shift with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation may occur up to every 3rd weekend. On-call coverage is required on Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with back-up on-call coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM. A 30-minute response time is required. Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call is expected; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled. Holiday expectations are based on unit needs.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsMagnetic Resonance (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT); experience with MRI patient types; Geographic Information System (GE) and Siemens MRI experience required; Epic required; McKesson PACS required; ability to work in a setting where the traveler will never be alone; license required to be brought on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac imaging is preferred.
- Additional Information: COVID vaccination is required. Orientation is provided for 3 days. MRI-only floating. Support on the unit includes a Lead Tech/Coordinator and imaging assistants. Required equipment includes GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS. Scrub color may be any color as long as professional. Free parking is available.
