Emergency Room (ER) Staff Nights (Hopewell, Virginia)
The organization is seeking ER Staff for a Nights schedule at an emergency setting in Hopewell, Virginia. This role supports emergency care with a focus on strong intravenous (IV) skills for both adults and pediatric patients, along with excellent communication and teamwork. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI); strong IV skills for adults & pediatric patients; excellent communication skills; current license to be presented on the first day
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Meditech (EDM) experience
• Responsibilities: Perform strong IV insertions for adult and pediatric patients; assist with emergency procedures including cardioversion, central line placements, cardiac arrests support, electrocardiograms (EKGs), code stroke protocol, code sepsis protocol, pacemaker interrogation, and suture/abscess setup
• Additional Information: Every other weekend; at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday of a 4-week schedule. No on-call required. Potential float to a freestanding emergency department (approximately 15 minutes away).
