Job Summary:
Emergency Room nurse position available in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position emphasizes teamwork, real-time coaching, and flexibility to work across all areas of the ED.

Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, NC
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC within 90 days of hire; 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1-year ER setting experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits); previous HCA experience preferred; current nursing license must be brought on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a high-acuity ED setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real-time, flexibility to work across all ED sections.
• Additional Information: The department is known for teamwork and welcoming personalities, serving a multi-cultural community with over 120 languages. Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital session followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor. Must adhere to dress code (navy and white scrubs for RNs) and departmental policies. Floating policy requires flexibility within ED sections.
