Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN House Supervisor for a travel nursing job in Gardner, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: House Supervisor Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: House Supervisor Level 1 (House Super 1) Gardner, Massachusetts House Supervisor Level 1 provides immediate leadership and follow-up during critical events and serves as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff. This role includes evaluating and adjusting staffing levels to support the highest level of patient care, delivering clinical consultation, and supporting patient, family, and staff needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details: Schedule: Rotating D/N; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Nursing; current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); previous experience in management and/or leadership role; three to four years acute care experience preferred Provides leadership and follow up during critical events such as code blue, code red, and code 100 Responds immediately to critical events Adjusts staffing levels to ensure the highest level of patient care; evaluates staffing needs continuously and adjusts as necessary to meet patient needs for the current and next shifts Functions as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff, providing clinical consultation, advice, and education Assists staff with problems; completes employee performance evaluations by evaluation due dates Supports conflict resolution and mediation (staff/physician, patient/physician, staff/staff) and communicates situations appropriately Advocates for patients, families, and staff; intervenes on patient/staff behalf; supports patients rights Supports other departments to meet patient needs and maintains operations of other departments during non-operating hours Benefits: The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Job ID 1273061.
