Job Summary: Boston, Massachusetts Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT CERT)
The traveling Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT CERT) will support surgical services within a high-capacity operating room environment, working a Day/Evening rotation that may include nights. The role requires rotating schedules based on operational needs and supporting call activity. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating day/evening schedule with a minimum of 40 hours per week; shift hours listed as 10.
- Start Date: 07/27/2026 (requests may also include 08/10/2026).
- Rotation and Shift Details: Day/Evening rotation (4x10 or 4x12), with a plan to trial travelers on evenings; includes 2 weeks of nights per contract. Includes at least 2 short calls each 4-week schedule and weekends. For 4x10 evenings, shifts are scheduled 1:00 PM11:00 PM. For 4x10 days, shifts are 7:00 AM5:30 PM on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and 9:00 AM7:30 PM on Wednesday.
- Weekend Scheduling Note: When scheduled for weekends on 4x10, travelers will be scheduled for 12-hour shifts; 8- or 10-hour shifts may also be assigned during that same week to meet contracted hours.
- Required Qualifications: Experience in a high-capacity operating room environment; certification as an operating room technician (ORT CERT).
- Additional Information: Contracts may be for standard 13-weeks.
