Job Summary:
The outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) position is located in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, at a wellness and rehabilitation center. This role involves providing outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on general adult orthopedic, balance, and generalized weakness cases. The position offers a flexible schedule with day shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid physical therapy certification, current licensure in the state of Maine, and a minimum of 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with general adult orthopedic, balance, and weakness patients; positive and patient-centered attitude; ability to ask questions and support team needs
- Float: May be asked to support additional units or transfer to different settings within the organization if needed
- Additional Information: Position involves standard outpatient rehabilitation equipment. The team includes three physical therapists, one physical therapist assistant, and three occupational therapists. Patients typically require 45-minute evaluations and treatments with a 1:1 patient-to-clinician ratio. The EMR system used is EPIC. Dress code involves scrubs, with no open toe shoes, jeans, or scents allowed.
