Job Summary: Spokane, Washington Polysomnographer (Peds Exp)
This position supports pediatric-focused sleep diagnostics by performing and scoring pediatric sleep studies and related testing within a rehabilitation setting. The polysomnographer will conduct night shift testing with a typical patient ratio of 2:1 and assist with required pediatric sleep procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (12-hour shift); minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist); registry in Sleep; 1 year of experience with pediatric sleep testing; experience with Epic; Valid WA or Compact RN license (required at time of submission); Allied license in hand (if applicable/if unsure, clarification is needed); able to complete compliance requirements prior to start (including submission of the last four of SSN at time of submittal).
- Preferred Qualifications: Charting system experience (Epic).
- Additional Information:
- Patient ratio experience: 2:1.
- Sleep diagnostics/testing skills include: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Adult and Pediatric Maintenance of Wakefulness test (MWT), Adult and Pediatric Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Baseline Sleep Polysomnography (PSG), BiPAP, CPAP, EEG, ECG, Sleep staging and scoring, Arousal and respiratory event monitoring, as well as Pediatric-specific PSG components.
- Weekend coverage is required (weekends covered on an every-other or similar basis).
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
