Radiation Therapist (RTT) Kansas City, MO
Job Summary: Radiation Therapist (RTT) for a Radiation Oncology unit in Kansas City, Missouri. The role supports delivery of advanced radiation treatments, including VMAT and 3D techniques, and contributes to safe and effective emergency treatment workflows. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Radiation Therapist experience (ARRT board certified); Basic Life Support (BLS); familiarity with OBI (On-Board Imager) KV, MV, and CBCT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Truebeam experience; OSMS experience.
- Responsibilities: Deliver radiation treatments including VMAT and 3D; perform SRS and SBRT; support emergency treatments including but not limited to SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression.
- Additional Information: Truebeam linear accelerator (Linac) technology is used; documentation systems include Mosaiq and Meditech.
