Radiation Therapist (RTT) Springfield, Missouri
Radiation Therapist roles in Radiology support the Radiation Therapy Treatment Team by planning, preparing, and delivering prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients using sophisticated treatment equipment and devices. The assignment is scheduled for days with 5x8 coverage, with start on 06/29/2026 and an expected length of 13 weeks. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 8 hours (5x8), with shift start times of 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 8:30 AM5:00 PM (may depend on patient load); minimum 40 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Responsibilities: Plans, prepares, and delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients; performs related duties as assigned
- Required Qualifications: BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) only; ARRT (as listed); RRA (as listed); Radiation Therapy experience in a hospital (minimum 2 years as stated); ability to demonstrate good communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elekta workflows/equipment

- Flu Vaccination Requirement: Flu Vaccination/Mercy Approved Exemption is required for all travelers from 11/0104/01; declinations are not accepted
