Job Summary:
The position of Radiation Therapist is located in Falls Church, Virginia. This role involves providing radiation treatment services in a clinical setting requiring a valid Virginia state license upon submission. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment. The Radiation Therapist will work on day shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM, five days per week, with variable weekend and holiday schedules as needed. The role involves operating Varian treatment systems, Truebeam, Trilogy, IBA Proton, and Aria Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
Job Details:
- Location: Falls Church, VA
- Shift: 7:00 AM 8:30 PM, 5/8's schedule
- Required Qualifications: Active Virginia state license, 2+ years experience with Varian treatment systems (Truebeam, Trilogy, IBA Proton), and Aria EMR; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA), Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) certification.

- Additional Information:
- Ratios: 2 Radiation Therapists to 1 patient
- Weekend work required on a variable basis, including potential Saturday shifts when proton machines are down during the week
- No call requirement
- Scrub color/dress code is gray scrubs
- Unit/department specific orientation includes Inova orientation, EPIC day training, and departmental orientation with a chief or lead therapist
- Epic access not required for this role
- The position is scheduled to start on 06/15/2026
