Job Summary
Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Everett, Washington. The organization is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to support sterile processing operations, including preparation and processing of surgical instrumentation, with strong supply knowledge and the ability to assemble and select appropriate sets and trays. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: 5x8 Days, 0600-1430; minimum 37.5 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Responsibilities:
  • Assemble sets and trays and place instruments on trays in accordance with department expectations
  • Apply aseptic technique and perform manual cleaning and high-level disinfection processes as required
  • Support sterilization and sterilization testing/monitoring processes, including steam sterilization
  • Reprocess scopes/probes and prepare loaner trays and loaner consignment trays as needed
  • Maintain proper labeling and proper selection of wrapping materials
  • Coordinate with the team in a teaching-oriented sterile processing environment
  • Float may be required between like units within the skill set
  • Work rotating weekends as part of department scheduling
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certification: Certified Biological Safety Officerrelated credentialing not specified; CBSPD (or CBSPD) and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA and/or IAHCSMMS (as listed)
  • Education/Degree Requirements: not specified
  • Years of Experience: 2 years experience required
  • Location Requirements: No locals
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with an acute hospital operating room and/or ambulatory surgery center
  • Charting system experience with EPIC
  • Prior community hospital experience
  • Trauma level I experience
  • Trauma level II experience
  • Experience using SPM (Sterile Processing Microsystem) instrumentation management systems
  • Experience with pure processing sink inserts/flexi pumps
  • Preferred patient setting experience in a pediatric environment
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must be available for an interview for all auto offers; interview availability should be sent with the submission
  • 3-day orientation on day shift is described, with arrival and training timing noted for Days 13 (with transition to the contracted shift thereafter)
  • Weekend requirement is indicated as required, with rotating weekends
  • Rotation/coverage expectations include working rotating weekends and floating as needed
  • Candidates should be prepared to complete training modules prior to start (modules are non-billable; completion is recorded through Workramp transcripts)
  • Commitment is required to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
