Job Summary:
The Surgical Technician or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is scheduled to work in a facility located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on 07/13/2026.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Location: Santa Fe, NM
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or LVN/LPN program, BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and at least 2 years of experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Extensive trauma level 1 experience, specialized skills in GYN, Orthopedics, General, Cysto, Plastics, ENT, peripheral vascular, trauma, laparoscopic procedures, and well-rounded in multiple areas.
- Experience: 0 years minimum, 12 years experience as a Certified Surgical Technician available.
- Additional Information:
- Weekend requirement: 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts per schedule
- On-call requirement: 1-2 call nights per week
- Floating requirement: Float to other departments as needed
- Presenting candidate: Terrace Diaz, with extensive travel experience and trauma expertise, active BLS, COVID vaccination on file, and outstanding references.
- Candidate is a travel pair with spouse, flexible schedule, willing to negotiate time off, and available for interviews.
