Surgical Technician/Operating Room Specialty (ORT) Operating Room, Manchester, NH
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Specialty (ORT) supports clinical teams in an Operating Room setting, assisting with preparation and procedure support for a variety of surgical specialties. Responsibilities include helping maintain readiness for assigned cases and supporting efficient room flow in collaboration with the healthcare team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days (10 hours), 40 hours per week; assigned stay-late call during the week and occasional Friday/Saturday overnights; holidays as needed (PRN).
- Required Qualifications: NH Med Tech license; ACLS for RNs (if applicable to the role); experience with orthopedic surgery, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, and urology; ability to support end-of-list and case-related needs in the Operating Room.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience (needed for call coverage).
- Additional Information: Operating Room environment; equipment includes DaVinci robot, endovascular suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump; EMR: Altera.
