Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Golden, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: This position is for a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) at a healthcare facility located in Golden, Colorado. The role involves supporting surgical operations to ensure a safe, sterile, and efficient environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position functions under supervision and is integral to maintaining sterile fields and assisting surgical teams during procedures. Job Details: Schedule: 4 nights per week, 10 hours per shift, from 8:30pm to 7:00am, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or military training in surgical services; 2 years of surgical technologist experience within the last 3 years; CO License (DORA) Required; NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist Required; BLS (AHA) Required. Preferred Qualifications: 1-year clinical experience in an accredited hospital; graduation from a non-accredited program within six months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam); 1-year CVOR scrubbing experience; cardio experience included in resume/profile. Additional Information: Responsibilities include maintaining sterilization criteria, managing sterile fields, recognizing sharps and fire safety hazards, assisting in surgical procedures, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Experience in sterile processing, surgical support, and supervision within surgical services is preferred.
