Job Summary:
A surgical technologist specializing in Operating Room Technology (ORT) is needed in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves facilitating invasive procedures by preparing sterile instruments, supplies, and maintaining a sterile field. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, and candidates must have current certification and education from an accredited surgical technology program.
Job Details:
- Location: Hermiston, Oregon
- Education: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
- Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- CRASE training: If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program, BLS certification, and at least zero years of experience
- Additional Information: Facilitates operative procedures by preparing sterile supplies, maintaining sterility, and assisting the surgical team; participates in hospital education programs; assists with post-procedure room cleaning and preparation for subsequent patients; supports hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures; performs other related duties as assigned.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
