Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist in Mesa, Arizona. Candidates will assist in advanced surgical procedures involving cardiovascular interventions, including cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine use and vascular access. This role requires mastery of surgical technology across multiple specialties and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Mesa, AZ
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, current basic life support (BLS) certification, certification as a surgical technologist, registered with State Regulatory Agency, one to two years of experience in a surgical technologist role, or three to four years in a surgical technologist role. Candidates must be able to scrub proficiently on a minimum of two surgical specialties.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: Does not allow for religious exemptions for COVID at the organization.
- Physical Demands and Environment: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently; possess physical agility and reaction time for unexpected needs; use proper body mechanics; may lift up to 75 pounds; adhere to universal precautions; work in an environment that may require travel and flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
