Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Echo Tech) in Waterloo, Iowa. This position involves performing echocardiogram procedures, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers a 7.5-hour shift with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications from Cardiovascular Credentialing International; current Driver's License; minimum of 24 months of experience in echocardiography or vascular diagnostics; location in the United States; no prior travel experience required but must have completed at least one travel contract in the past 12 months; Pediatric case experience highly preferred; TEE (transesophageal echocardiography) experience required; Phillips and GE equipment experience required; work history/resume must reflect 24 months of current echocardiography experience; professional references from within the past 24 months preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric case experience highly preferred; recent performance evaluation/reference from a supervisor or equivalent within the past 24 months.
- Additional Information: No first-time travelers; work during upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) required if the unit is open; one to two weeknights of call per week and one weekend of call every fifth weekend if scheduled; weekend rotations every fourth weekend or holiday rotation if scheduled.
- Certifications: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer).
- Submission Requirements: Submission of relevant certifications and references.
