Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Ultrasonographer Echocardiography (Echo) Technologist in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves independently performing transthoracic echocardiograms, bubble studies, and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms, structural heart procedures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and watchman device procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Las Cruces, NM
- Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with one weekend of call (Friday to Sunday) every fifth week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid New Mexico State License in Echo, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification, BLS certification. Pediatric Registered preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Registered certification.
- Additional Information: The unit is equipped with Meditech and Change Healthcare PACS systems; recent upgrades may include new equipment and technology. The team boasts experienced staff capable of working independently across inpatient, outpatient, and catheterization lab exams.
